There's been so many times
you've made me laugh
that your name
always brings a smile
across my face
whether I want to or not.
Although you may be far
it doesn't feel that far at all.
You could be the boy down the street
that I just never talk to
but I know you're there.
And I really can't express
in my words
or even in my actions right now
how much I care for you.
I hate that I make you sad
but it makes me happy
when I get to see you smile,
because you make me smile
more then you will ever know.
I just want you to know
that I'm ever thankful
to whatever higher being there is
that you came into my life.
I hope that you never leave
because even though I said to you
that I'd get over it,
it'd destroy me
piece by piece.
Because although you're not here
you've become a major part of my life
emotionally
and mentally.
Which means more to me,
then you'll ever know.
And I guess what I'm saying here
is that I love you
in all senses of those three little words.
This doesn't have to be romantic
but this is from me
to you.
I love you.
